The Day Spa Association, through its charity arm SPAcare, Inc. is in the process of creating categories to help spa owners impacted by the National Disasters. This will show disaster victims a list of manufacturers and suppliers who have agreed to work cooperatively to help in the recovery and who are willing to offer special discounts to those affected.
If you are ready and able to lend a helping hand to our spa partners in the areas that were devastated by the recent disasters, please add your Posting(s) and let us know.

I appreciate you opening this up for those of us who have been affected by the floods. We as a spa were not directly affected by the floods but majority of our community has been and is still in a state of shock. The roads have recently reopened and the water has gone down enough for people to get into their homes and businesses and start cleaning up. We have spent a lot of time helping out but are realizing now that our business has been greatly affected indirectly. Our sales are down dramatically and any advice any of you have would be greatly appreciated. I hope you are enjoying your summer and enjoy not having to smell fish and sewage!

Thank you Lisa for letting us know that you are OK, at least no damage to your spa. The only recommendation I have is that you open your doors to the EMS and other relief workers to help them relax and rest before they go back out. These gestures will be greatly appreciated by them and your community. You may also want to let your local paper know that you are doing this, and that will enhance your profile in your local community. Keep us posted of how things are progressing.
